I purchased the domain name beepingmemo.com and used it for this blog. It costs me $18.16. I used the service Name.com. I like using that.

I google the word "beeping memo" and found my website as the top result. That means Google search engines recognize my website now and start ranking. 5 posts published at that time;

I set up Google Adsense in the blog. There are two options to choose from; Let Google decide where to show ads on your site vs you decide where you want to show ads. The names are called AutoAds and AdUnit. I prefer to use an Ad unit and place it in individual blog posts. This can be a lot of manual work but I can carefully place ads not to interrupt too much to my readers. I decided to include them in between different sections. For example, if my blog post has 5 things that I explained, I can show ads after the first thing explained, after the second thing explained, etc...
